Drinking is part of a social norm.
Birthdays, graduations, sports events, dinner parties - serving and drinking alcohol is expected.
It’s also the norm to have a drink after the end of a long day to relax. But what is the actual impact on your body? And is your body truly in a relaxed state?
People who drink are considered “normal” while people who decline are quizzed - what’s wrong? Are you pregnant? Got a big presentation tomorrow?

There are so many questions, and today our guest, Karolina Rządkowolska, Alcohol-Free Coach, has scientific answers for you. She’s not here to tell you not to drink but to help you think through how this habit aligns with your deeper self.
Karolina shares her story of how heavy drinking during her college years and living for the weekend lifestyle contradicted her lifestyle of practicing yoga and meditating. She also tells us how drinking made her depressed, sleep-deprived and caused her to have high cholesterol.
